One Show, One Audience

Someone asked the philosopher Ken Wilber, "Why does God incarnate?"
He replied, "Because nobody likes to eat dinner alone."

Does it not sound Boring?
One man show
One man audience.
Both One and no other.

What to do?
Be another?
Also you?
But with purpose?

Disguise yourself,
From yourself.
Believe.
You... Are.... Somebody.

Every level balanced
Sublime,
Horrific
Everything is different

You can stop anytime.
Will you be still?
See things as they truly are.
Enjoy the show.

Whom I do not know

Remembering Boise Idaho,
John told me that everything is here for you,
To serve you,
To educate you.
For you to enjoy.

The grass says,"Thank you for walking on me, I am here for you."
The bird on the grass says, "Thank you for noticing me, I am here for you."
People are no different.
Your parents are here for you.
Teaching through their actions.

How many times I have been my father.
The way I sit in a chair,
Holding a pencil.
not all the time,
moments.

Perhaps all relatives,
pay a visit
through the day.
How many,
of whom I never met.

Purpose

The blossom is still, yet it attracts the bee,

The hole in the ground is still, yet it fills with water,

The spider's web is still, yet it catches the fly,

The flame is still, yet it attracts the moth,

Be Still and your true purpose is revealed.

Duality

Duality in any form, no matter how beautiful or compelling, is still duality. Duality is always changing forms, flowing from one things into another. Even higher dimensions and levels of sensitivity are still duality. It can be so amazing and miraculous that we begin to think that we have found the secret. It is when we say "This is it!" That we stop flowing with it. It is important to realize the gifts that come, but let them pass. Do not try to hold onto them for you stop the flow of what is to come next. Even if you were witness to a wonderful miracle, know that it is still duality, and let it happen. I say to myself when I have an insight that is beautiful, "That is so lovely, but that is not me. That is duality."
It is not about shunning Duality because of it being an illusion that we must get rid of completely. You won't. It is about seeing that which is most beautiful and amazing and saying, "Even-though that is amazing and beautiful, it is not me....I AM." Perhaps something truly magical will happen as a result of you being the catalyst, just by being there. But do not marvel at it. Enjoy it for what it is and know that even that is not you. As you do this, duality does more and more to be more and more. It is not trying to deceive you, it is reflecting you. Who knows where that ends.

Looking within...

The act of "looking within" stumps many people. It is actually not "looking within" it is instead Being Still. Doing nothing. Being nothing. It is extremely simple, yet it is easier said than done, because people try to accomplish this through the "ego", which is incapable of doing it. Allan Watts described it as like trying to touch the tip of your finger with the same finger, or biting your teeth, with your teeth. Once you realize that ego is totally incapable of doing this, you begin to realize that You are already Stillness in reality. The more you realize your stillness, the more ego fades into the background. Ego naturally perceives this as a threat, so it is only natural that it does everything possible to avoid this from happening, hence the endless chatter. As long as you have a physical body you will have an ego. It comes with the package. It is not about getting rid of ego, it is about realizing that it is not the "true" you. When you realize your true self the issue of what to do about ego falls away like a dry leaf.
